Heres my next two lead dogs. A mistake litter. Out of a friends dogs that have made my best dogs on theyre best days look mmediocre. Some more freebies; Thunder is the blue male. Black Ears (sons pick and named) is the white female. Love that color! Theyre six months and making races and treeing. The male bayed his first bear at 5 months and was doing his share of face barking. On one long race yesterday the female came out at the tree an hour after it treed, by herself. whereas three older dogs im running were way outran and just turned around and were picked up where i struck. Pretty happy with them so far

there we go. Kid in the backpack, nice rig, dogs, bear. A great day there.

Good run today. Ran this guy in some pretty open country outside the creek he was in. Sat up on the hill and watched some dog work and a half. Once he got out of the running mood the dogs walked him up to a big pine where he expired. Satisfied with the dogs!

"GO AHEAD AND DO IT !" I was standing at arms length in front of this youngster,that's why you can't see his ears.I briefly thought about reaching out and touching him on the head but my pea brain said"DON'T"! I didn't.

Back in our younger days we did some dumb stuff....I took this picture of this small bear with a 110 pocket camera from about 5 feet before he sent us packing to the back of our rigs. The dogs were on him and this little dude wasn't having any of it...
