I can't believe David didn't say compass and extra collars, for the next time he leaves his dogs and gets lost. If he puts a collar behind the others and snaps to that one, the dogs should still be there if he uses a chain lead. LOL!!!
But something tells me, that he won't try it again ?? Cecil King and I came very close to freezing, his Zippo lighter saved us!!!!

Remember, once you have doubt about witch way to go, It seems that you will have doubt from then on!!!! Always pay attention to where your going and short cuts aren't always the thing to try. Especially in new or road-less areas.
If your coming, come on!!! "A Thousand mile journey, Starts with a single step".

Believe me a compass was on my mind for this exercise. But I was just trying to figure out what I have never gone hunting without. I have gone out without a compass. And always promised myself I would never do that again. Then broke my promise to myself and again promised myself I would never break that promise again.

Once after being lost most of the night because I forgot my compass, when I finally got home soaking wet and muddy, emptied my pockets for the laundry, and there was my compass.

I hate it when that happens.
