the alleged cat would have been easier to catch on flat ground mark

It ran for 30 minutes on the flat and lasted about 2 minutes in the rough lol

Mark, that looks like a slide or a damn rock pit!! my 3 mo. old pup could have walked with "YOU", or is that as close as you get, and it's Ty's job from there?? I'm thinking of naming my new pup Mark ? What do you Think??

My ole bitch struck hard from inside the box .I don't usually hunt this area but i couldn't resist that kind of strike . This is why i avoid the area. There's a cat in there,somewhere!

Florida and south Georgia is the only place I've ever turned a dog loose so I have no knowledge of the subject,but I am curious bludawg,what is that boulder field,I've surely never seen anything like that.

Scrubrunner, that's just what it is.A huge boulder field or rock slide.It's actually still moving down the mountain,albeit at a snails pace.I have pictures of it from the bottom on my camera.It shows a tree that is slowly being pushed over .A very dangerous,unstable area ! This is the type of terrain that bobcat and other game will use to escape the hounds.Oregon has lots of ground like this.In my youth i didn't mind hunting spots like this,in my old age i would just as soon avoid them.
