The way I see it is like this. For a lot of the population that is say 50-60years old on up, there was very large threats from an "axis of evil" so to speak wether it was the Russians, The Japanese, Koreans, Germans, Communism... So they have a different way of thinking about "terrorism" and how we respond to radical islamic threats. They just simply aren't the threat that they are made out to be. Furthermore, they have made it very clear that our constant meddling in their affairs is why they hate us. Our "interest" in most of the countries IS tied to money, resources or power and the associated businesses and people that make money off of them.
What the crazies do to the innocents that they kill is unbelievable but we cannot continue to police the world on the dime of the unborn US citizen. It weakens the US in the long run. And it is very immoral to do so. You wouldn't take out credit cards in your newborn's name to buy stuff with would you? We were not founded to be the policeman of the world, period. Fair trade with all, foreign entanglements with none.
We can't free or change regimes/people by bombing the snot out of them, sanctioning them or starving them. They have to want it themselves. Some farmers did it a long time ago and beat the largest military in the world(with a little help from France) and laid the foundation in which we built a nice house that got remodelled into an out-house since 1913.

General Patton was furious!
He wanted to ReArm Germany and invade Russia. He knew who the real enemy was. It probably got him killed, I believe he was assassinated-they reassigned him a Jewish doctor after his accident and when he was making progress. He died shortly after this 'new' doctor took over. He wouldve been President as well.

1. Destroy Germany and the Germans who Patton called 'Thre greatest race in Europe
2. Create World Govt ala the UN
3. Steal Palestine for the European and Russian J EWs.
4. Kill off 60 million White people and have them commit fraticide killing their racial cousins in Europe. The white race is now a minority.

Patton was disgusted by their behavior in the camps for Displaced Persons (DP's) which the Americans built for them and even more disgusted by the way they behaved when they were housed in German hospitals and private homes. He observed with horror that

After a visit to ruined Berlin, he wrote his wife on July 21, 1945:

On August 31 he wrote: "Actually, the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. it's a choice between them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans."
September 2: "What we are doing is to destroy the only semi-modern state in Europe, so that Russia can swallow the whole.'
On J EWs:
"There is a very apparent Semitic influence in the press. They are trying to do two things: first, implement communism, and second, see that all businessmen of German ancestry and non-Jewish antecedents are thrown out of their jobs.
On Germans:
September 29, Patton indicated that he was, in a way, not unhappy with his new assignment, because "I would like it much better than being a sort of executioner to the best race in Europe."
