#8 is the best one for my neck of the woods. Lions in this area have been over hunted for years, Idaho is the same way.

first, a couple of them are prettysimilar in sentiment--just expressing it differently. Its hard to tell how to tally the votes for those. for example:
1 "he aint never done that before!
11 that dog never done that before
16 he aint never done that before
or
4 "My dogs are broke"
5 Don't worry....he's 100% broke!
19 hes pretty straight
here's my picks in order:
14 "At least they are getting some excercise."
1 "he aint never done that before! (or 16)
18 he's just a pup
19 hes pretty straight
6 pretty sad when the box is smarter than the cab
21 a man's ego is a heavy burdon for a hound to carry
23 Hell he's trashy as his hounds
12 your dogs are making my dogs trash
5 Don't worry....he's 100% broke!
8 Leave it in the tree if you wish to run another day
(I'd prefer "want" to "wish" -- "wish" just does not sound like a hounder)

Sorry Emily...I was trying to be too politically correct when I came up with that sloggen

I used want in the past and changed it to wish but either way still means the same

Emily... We'll sort throught the details before we selct them. I'm just trying to get a general idea of which ones are obvious that we can cull.. the ones that are very simularly worded can be voted on for the best worded..
Keep the votes coming, and then Hopfully the obvious ones can be locked in, and then we will just scrap over the not so obvious ones..
It sucks, and takes some time but I hope the end result will be worth it.

Sorry if I offended you Spanky. Wish is perfectly correct but awfully formal. Can't see that on a T-shirt!
