About 6 miles later I finally got her caught.

One more thing, that right there is why I truely hate coyotes. It can get much worse even at night and lets not even talk about during the day. Aint no deer or elk ever been born that can take you on the trip that young scared coyote will and in a hurry.

There are a few dogs that will go to a barking coyote by them selves
but not many.
The old guys in okla that had them kind of dogs have all died.
Not many run on the out side now.
The tree huggers with 40 acres won,t let u now.
That is why I quit & went to the cats.
cats don,t run as wild as coyotes.
U don,t get as many a$$ chewing as when coyote hunting.
I don,t know how many coyotes I have caught in peoples barns & sheads, but a good many.
When a coyote gets desperate, he will head for a farm stead, I don,t know why, but they will do it. Just like a cat will not climb & just let the dogs catch him on the ground.
I don,t know why.
If there is better hound music than 4 dogs after a coyote at night for 4 or 5 hours out on the open prarie, I don,t know what it could be. Them old hounds will be running just as fast after 4 hrs as they were the 1st hr, sounds like they are biteing his tail every jump. I would like to have a $ for every hours sleep I have missed in my life listing to the coyote race. This is why I am so partial to the running dogs.
Every body brags on the running walker, but the July are just as good, there is just not that many over all to choose from like the walkers.

A man is not very smart that can,t get his wife two jobs.

And any wife should be able to support her man & a pack of hounds.
