Ive been feeding the exclusive preformance since I got into this. It seems to keep weight on the dogs and gives them plenty of energy. I have a couple of house dogs I feed kirkland signature and their coats arent near as good lookin. The exclusive comes out to about $29 for a 40lb bag, buy 5 get the 6th free.

I feed diamond Hi-energy 24/20 it keeps good weight on when the dogs are run hard, and its a reasonable price. $20 for 50 pounds.

I agree on the Diamond HiEnergy.......been feeding it for 7 or 8 years.

I would also add (not wanting to upset anyone, though) that I believe that many people who dislike their dog feed have wormy dogs and just don't realize it.

That is very true i have had that happen to me. Hard to blame the feed if the dog is full of worms! I worm monthly now

How the heck do you guys get the Diamond Hi-Energy for that cheap? I'm paying $32/50 lbs. Also, just moved to a much colder climate and before I knew it they were dropping weight fast and not even being run real hard. Had to almost double their feed...adding all the meat scraps and bacon grease I can and they still aren't gaining much. What do you worm with once a month...seems like a guy might go broke worming that often.

I feed purina and all the lean butcher scraps want. They barely touch there dog food and look the best this time of year, very solid and well muscled.

I worm with zimecterin gold $13 will worm 1250 pounds,or equimax both have ivomec and praziquantal, both are cheap and seem to do a good job.

Ted, you're saying you worm your dogs with horse wormer and it's ok on them. If so I guess that would be a good affordable way to worm the whole pack.

Lots of people use zimecterin for all kinds of critters and works great i use it for goats and sometimes dogs if their near me when its time for the goats then the dog gets a mouth full..
