Man that was a huge BM Larry, I hope you feel better. maybe I should borrow some testosterone from you. You seem to have more than you need. I guess I will go draw me a bath, get out those bath beads, light a few candles, read my favorite book, or I could curl up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep. On second thought I will keep posting what I want, take a stand when it right, and pass on some knowledge that I have learned.
when I curl up with my girl and my head hits the pillow tonight I won't give you another thought.

I already know what Larry thinks of the state trapper so look out with that comment.

I also know of the state trapper and don't feel much differently about it.

You don't know fish and game protocol but you do know he didn't follow it.

I have several friends in the Fish and Game and have helped with a couple of investigations. I have seen the paperwork and photos going into the investigations to help them make decisions. Utlimately, I think it covers them when they have to answer questions brought up by the public. So, no, I don't think he followed protocol.

Larry called him but his explanation was not good enough.

If he had done the investigation and created a file on what was going on and why he made the decision, his explanation would have been simple. It would be easier to show hard evidence on the matter, and I think Larry would have accepted it with good evidence. I would have, and thats why I had a problem with killings to begin with.

I think if the right steps were taken, everyone would know what happened and not just the warden, the rancher, and the houndsman.

Mtblack&tan,

Good for you, I am glad you cleared it all up! sounds to me with all those investigative skills you claim to have you should have done the investigation yourself. Now that we all know that the game warden, gov. hunter, and rancher are all incompetent, and you and Larry seem to know all that needs to be known, Larry can become a fish cop and you the gov. hunter and every critter in the country would be safe, with Andy Griffith and Barney Fife, Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunn ( dumb and dumber ),The Lone Ranger and Tonto, Roy Rogers and Trigger on the job (you pick it). I didn't start this, if you want to continue with this worthless discussion we can, I would just a soon move on to more worthwhile topics. We can continue to banter back and forth on this subject for another 10 or 12 pages and still never get anywhere. I myself have been known to beat a dead horse, but this is ridiculous.

game wardens in this state are a bunch of clowns, they have noting better to do than cruise down the highway or harass people at the coffee shop, god forbid they have to leave their truck and actually do something that they where hired for. The day they earn respect from the sportsmen of this state is the day the do the job they are hired for.

one winter we(4 to 6 of us)where stopped at a gated road, trying to freshen up a track, we see the game warden coming down the road, isnt it his job to stop and check to see if everyone is properly licensed? nope he just drives on by :? Had some one poach a deer in the field kiddy corner to the house, neighbor took picks of the truck, licence plate and everything, called the tip line to report it, they said a warden would be by in a day or two to get everything, no one ever showed :? I was out fishing a ice fishing tournament two weekends ago, two wardens came down on the ice, all they did was bs, no license check again :? Do we need more examples?

btw one game warden we have here now, originally was stationed in the area where this occurred, he told me to my face one day that he considers all houndsmen nothing more than outlaws.

Sourdough, this was a good topic goin in the right direction until you decided to interject your complete and stated lack of knowledge on the specific subject. your input is bringing nothing productive to this thread.
