Following the dogs will keep you in shape to a certain extent, but it will also wear out your body. Especially the knees. When I hunt the big country I aint going without my good mule, Ole Betsy.

Hey you sound familiar... Is this Betsy and one of those little yellow dogs you follow around?

Heck, I turn 40 on Sunday. Doesn't seem like I should be that old. The comment about the 20's being a blurr is dead on, I'm Indian and Irish you know, no designated drivers in my family. :beer

27 for another month or two ;)

Been running dogs for about 10 years..

Finally figured out I needed to go to school to get a good job if I don't want to be a brokeass houndsmen(woman) my whole life.. Still going to have the dogs and probably be broke.. but I'll have a little more to spend on them when I'm done..

Im 28 and feeling great. I have wavey hair (its just to bad its waving good bye  ). But even now I feel the difference in 20 and 28.
I was out hunting with my dad (67)this spring and we had covered about 5 miles on foot when he looked up and saw a rock pile and said "hell you ought to walk up there and look for that lion track. If I was your age I would." Well I said I had about enough walking for a day so we headed to the truck. Up the road about a mile there went a female and big kitten track headed right to that rock pile. "see if you would have gone there like I said you would be trailing this thing already". I believe if he had his own hounds nothing would have stopped him from going straight to that rock pile. Tough does not know an age. :D

Heck Robb, At 43 you're not even starting to get rebuilt yet. I've had a shoulder rebuilt, carpal tunnel in one hand, need the other, healing up right now from knee surgery, looking into having the other knee done in August. Shoot, you're still young and got your whole life ahead of you. Good luck!!!
Yep Benny and I heard that you are a little opininated also...

55 real soon I believe in better living thru the miracles of modern medicine.
Even tried viagra but I kept forgetting where I put it and then I couldn't find my glasses to read how to use it, I thought it said as a suppository, so I threw it out!
Dog found it and ate it and now I am covered in pups, had to bury the ol' dog!
cats are pregnant, horses are scared and I can finally go back outside.
