Yea Buddy !!!!

My Brother lived in Jeffery City and Between Muddy Gap and Sweetwater Station it was Called BLOOD ALLEY For A Very Good Reason .. A early Morning Ride to Muddy Gap could yeld 2-3 Hundred Pounds of Fresh Meat .. Atleast 1 elk per week !!

And the Open Range from South Pass to Farson you may stumble apon a Whole Cow !!

One Day I was hunting just north East of Farson in the Morrow Mountains and Saw 3 Dead head of Cattle ..

Ol Roy and like Bawl Mouth, High Performance when hunting. Also some beef bone to keep the jaw tough.

The best dog food I have ever used was Enhance Hunters Edge. The dogs look good, are full of energy, one dark hard turd a day and I only feed them 2 cups a day unless I'm hunting them hard.

The worst dog food I have ever used was Ol' Roy. Constant shits. Didnt think much of Pedigree, PKC or Black Gold.

I would have to say all the ones I have tryed are junk as well. It really dont matter what you find some junk just cost lots more then others. Most of the (good brands) seam to be good on somethings and really poor on others. So now I feed the cheap stuff meat and vitamins and mix in very little dry food now and then. I hunt and now trap most of the year so have lots of meat from that, I also find all of the grocery stores around here more then willing to give me all the fat, bones and scraps I can use. It adds a little work come feeding time each day but for what I asked out of them its worth it to me.
As for what one person said about just anything going into pet food, it is regulated by the USDA and all pet food must be safe for human consumption. Doesn't mean it what best for our pets just safe for us. I know sounds funny but guess there are the interesting few that eat pet food.

I've tried just about everything, my favorite is Pro-Plan, but just too dang expensive. I have one Stag who is a hard-keeper and no matter what I fed, she always had a dull lookin coat. I started given' the dogs a raw, thick, meaty, beef rib bone every Sun. and the Stag was transformed. Her white's got whiter and her tan became red.. in fact, the others look better also, but especially her. Just like horses, some are easy keepers and some not. So, it's Purina One, and a weekly rib-bone. Something about the Purina One that I noticed, the dogs like it so much that they seem to eat it slower and savor every morsel, just like a fat girl eating french fry's..
