Re: Houndmen always getting put out
I'm not sure how or why this is such a big Deal. Obviously there are some personal feelings about this.
This is simply a way for some of us to get together and try and get something rolling for a political group. We can go into the history about things, however I really don't care or want to get into the drama. There are guys that don't like me, I'm fine with that, I'll have to live with myself and I think I'll be ok.
Anyone that wants to come meet a handful of guys that will try and establish a Political group are welcome. Unfortunately You'll have to decide if you want to race your dogs or not. Since a few of us won't race dogs, we can either sit around and watch your dogs race, or if you don't mind, we can go and try and work on something that we would enjoy doing before dinner.
Your welcome to come, but Unfortunately there is only so much time on Saturday and I don't think the guys putting on the Event want to stop what they are doing so we can make sure that some guys can do both. If I put the event on I would have made sure that the Event was over by 3pm so that people had time to come talk and visit. (Maybe the event will be done by 3pm) But if it's not finished, I don't understand why you expect us to stay and watch everyone else's dogs, and if we don't we are somehow now selfish.
Either way we can't make everyone happy, Personally I think this is a Great way to get more attendance to the Banquet from pulling Folks that normally Might not go to it, and it gives something for guys without the dogs to do.
I'll state it again.. This has nothing to do with anyone, or the other groups, clubs, and field trials.
I don't understand why it would offend anyone.

It was nice talking to you George, thanks for calling! As for the ball being dropped I have to agree with Brian 100%
Mic I don't think the club didn't want u there but it seemed you were on a one way track. if you were to busy with your kid thats totally understandable but you could have stepped down from office an still helped the club however u felt possible.
Hope to see everyone at the banquet an have a great discussion at the council meeting

I am not sure what everything is about as far as LCSA. I don't care and I don't want to know. I would rather all involved would work it out with the phone, emails or PM's. Or call it the past and try to find a way to focus all our ideas in a good direction.
I have decided to attend some of the field trial on Saturday in the hopes of meeting some folks and having some fun conversation. I look forward to talking with the folks that share my interest in focusing more on political issues later in the afternoon before the evening functions start. I look forward to the Hound Council meeting and the Banquet.
This next part is extremely critical to the future of hounds in Washington state.
We have to be able to come together and have civilized conversations about the issues we face. Hard feelings from the past need to be left at the curb. I won't be a part of something that is being done to be vindictive to other clubs or past club members. This isn't about the past, it is all about the future.
I look forward to meeting some folks this weekend.
Thanks,
George

Tony, you gave up too soon. This turned into a good thread. We had a whole in the fence, and the animals were getting. We fixed the hole and I think everything will be ok. Kiss my ass PETA.
In the end we may argue. We may not get along. We may not agree. But we will fight TOGETHER til the end.
See everyone on Saturday. Remember if you complain, but don't show up and support the coucil in some way. YOU may very well be the problem. Everyone think about. We fixed our problem here and we are moving on with the end result being we are one.
I think this worked for the best..................
