Looks like things are falling in Line and naturally sorting out very nicely, Here is the update, Thanks ladycathunter. I'll probably give it a couple days to make sure, Unless things change drastically this could be easier to sort down to ten than I originally thought.

One of the repeated lines will need to be removed.

The most voted for.

21.. Has 23 votes for it.

8... Has 10 votes

9.... Has 10 votes

3.... Has 9 votes

1.... Has 9 votes

5.... Has 7 votes

11... Has 7 votes

14... Has 6 votes

18... Has 5 votes

20... Has 5 votes.. Number 2 also has 5 votes..

So so far the order is..

21 a man ego is a heavy burden for a hound to carry
8 Leave it in the tree if you wish to run another day
9 Usually the smartest one in the expedition is the dog
3 Houndsmen are born not made!!
1 "he ain't never done that before!
5 Don't worry....he's 100% broke!
11 that dog never done that before
14 "At least they are getting some excercise."
18 he's just a pup
20 That dog couldn't catch a cold
2 "That'll buff out"

But maybe since 1 and 11 are the same we can use 2 in there since 2 and 20 are tied?

Number nine sure says alot for how houndsmen perceive themselves. No wonder the outside world sees us that way. I for one wouldn't wear a shirt that implies that a critter that eats its own shit and sniffs ass as a greeting is smarter than me. Thats just my opinion. I thought these were houndsmens quotes not peoples slogans. No offense. Also about the houndsmen being born. I for one have learned alot and was most certainly made, not born. Its something I was guided into. Maybe I'm not a real houndsmen. The only place I have seen these 2 quotes are on the internet and have never had someone express these in the woods. I like the rest. :-)

No offense everyone has their opinion.....thats why everyone had the opportunity to cast a vote

But since you brought it up I have a hound or two laying around eating their own dung right about now (I fed about an hour ago) I would like to see you beat to a bear or bobcat tree if you think your smarter then they are  And I am sure they will lick their butts a time or two on the way there to give you a chance

Just my opinion.. But I'd have to disagree, your first beef that first one. My dog has taught me more than I have taught it when it comes to hunting (which still isn't saying much!)

Another point at least for me is I'm sure my dog would catch more without me than I could catch without it.. When it comes to hunting a good dog is smarter than me.

Can't say much on your second point, I don't think I voted on that one either, but that's why I can't run Bears in Washington, I was out voted. :( Hope this doesn't turn you away.

Just something to think about. I wanted to keep this light and fun.. Let's not make this too personal.

Just because they have different talents doesn't mean they're smarter. Case in point, Micheal Vick. He can run a 4.3 40 and I maintain he's not smarter than I am. If I had made 130 million you wouldn't ever hear from me again ;-) Any how I think the shirt is a good idea. I have been archery hunting so I haven't been on much, what did we decide to do with the proceeds?

See I always took that saying as more of a joke.. You ever have thing after thing go wrong when you are hunting and it doesn't have to do with the dogs and you are feeling pretty stupid?? That is when it feels like the dogs are smarter then you...

Sorry you take offense to it.. I find it hilarious..

no need to worry Mel I don't think he finds it all that offensive. When I put it down I was thinking more on the humorous side but in reality its how my hounds make me feel just about everytime I dump the box on an old dinosaur track that I should know better. They go and prove me the idiot everytime

Boy if something like that offended me I'd be in trouble :-) Usually people aren't smiling when they are offended. Just thinking about the other part of it. For sure my dogs have made me look stupid. Just about the time I think I know what they are doing. Anyway I guess we're getting off topic. What about the proceeds?

Dang... see what happens when you don't add the smileys after your sentences  I always seem to forget you can't get tone of voice posted..

I am not sure.. I think it is going to go to USSA?????

I agree my dogs are always trying to teach me about coon hunting. A normal night starts off with high hopes. I drop the dogs and then start thinking that are doing it all wrong, ecspecially if I have someone with me. I start making excuses for them. All the while they are out working away. Just about the time I have used just about every excuse I can think of, most af there are on here  , they start treeing. Amazes me every time.

I'm still waiting to hear back from USSA about this. I would prefer that this money went to help Dog Hunting issues. I email one of the directors last week.
