The senate passed it, 21 to 13 was the last we heard, now it will go to the Governors desk if you have not called before PLEASE step up and call, if you have keep it up! Call for your self, and have your wife/husband/children/aunts/uncles/moms/dads/neighbors/friend/enemies/WHO EVERY you can think of and it does not matter what state/country/planet you are from just please call an let them know how much money you spend while hunting in California, write or fax the Governors office and ask him not to sign this bill

The phone book lists the Governor's fax number as (916) 445-4633
Probably will not hurt to send faxes to both numbers...

I read somewhere he has until Sept.30. If he signs it I dont know if it goes into affect immediately, or on Jan 1st.

Does anyone know for sure that if it's signed before the 30th of Sept
will the law go into affect right away or next season and is a lawsuit possible to try to overturn it?
If this bill is signed it's might be time to start hunting the hsus,
you know who i am talking about ,their the ones to blame, I hate the Dems as much as anyone but their just following orders and when the 2nd in command Steinberg tells you to vote yes you vote yes unless you want the leadership of your party to cast you off and you get to spend the rest of your term on the Toliet Bowl Committee.

In our fight at the Capital we have found one of the best pro-gun/hunter organizations Gun Owners of California, Sam Peredes the Executive Director is at the Capital daily fighting for us on SB 1221, you pull up there web site and the 1st thing you see is SB 1221 and them pushing for call to Governor Brown, they have a long range plan on who we need to get voted out and who to get voted in to protect our gun and hunting rights.
