Rigging w/ young hound

I had the same problem with a young hound that I have. After his first track off the box he would whine the whole time until I would put him on the ground. Then I started bumping him if my old dog wasn't whinning. Now he rides the box like a champ and knows to shut up until he has something to bark about. I would just give him a little bump on 2 as he catches on pretty quick.

Lots of good posts here i have also lightly bumped young dogs for just barking and had no prpblems
