Ya the facts are california sucks because people want to be taken care of they will give up there rights and freedoms just to get a check. That puts politicians in charge and they do what they think is good for you , when they don't understand what you do or how you do it and you are not good at explaining it then there goes your right to hunt, guns are scary mean dogs that fight bears are scary and the men an women that participate in hunting sports are scary also. Just go to San Francisco L.A or any other big city and start a conversation on the subject of hunting any type of hunting use a negative connotation towards the subject you will see why the small towns of california are going extinct. People are ignorant and most for the rite price want to stay that way. Know matter what happens with sb1221 we were screwed as hounds man and woman here in california way before this. I still call the governors office ever day and fight tooth and nail to keep what rights we still have intact. Until we really stand up and fight we are going to continually get taken advantage of. We as hunters in CA give fish and game a ton of money just to harass us and not stand up for what we pay to do. Im done sorry for my BS

Amen to that Mark. When the majority actually want the government to solve all their problems they are also agreeing to go along with everything they say. Remember when you were a teenager and your parents said "as long as you're under my roof, eating my food, you'll obey my rules!" It's like that. People don't get it. Just checked his website for legislative updates. Today's signings dealt with animals and their welfare/treatment. Senate Bill 1221 has been signed by Governor Brown...

We never had a chance. When the HSUS has a 90 million a year budget, the head of the Senate wildlife committee is a former senior lawyer of the Natural Resources Defense Council, the legislature is ruled by Democrats and a Republican Senator is willing to change his vote for a $25,000 donation and endorsement from HSUS we were doomed from the start. For a state that claims diversity and tolerance I guess that only applies to what certain people define that to be. I hope that those of you that live in Ca. vote no on the Governor's pet - prop. 30.

My heartfelt thanks goes out to CHC and everyone else who did what they could to stop this, at least we gave it a shot. When this same thing comes to you out of state guys I hope we can step up to help.
