hey houndcrazy, you can easily lift it by yourself, its made out of eighth inch treadbrite alum, and 1/8 th 1"x1" alum angle on top to hold the 3/4 " wood that was rhinolined for his waterproofing, that is how he wanted it built, you could easily just do it out of all treadbrite and bend to your dims, no bracing necessary, with a couple of bends it really gains some strength, he just had less material cost that way. hope this helps.

Happy to help Paul, those were some different measurements for sure, and he needed the cut out in the front for his flatbed and his wheeler with trax, thats why he was happy he won it, he knew he had to go custom to make it all fit. Hope it all works out for him , seemed like a nice guy!

Vaungh, How would you charge for a box that fits on the bed rails of 2008 Dodge. I want it center divided with two doors, four 5" rigs holes on each side. I have a tool box in the bed will have to get you measurements of the tool box, also would like the front solid so the dogs can not get out and covers for the rig holes.

I try to do them for 1000 give or take a little, depends on price of alum when ordering, wood on top or all tread brite alum, give me more specifics on your measurements and i could do a better quote for you.

Here is another style for a friend, he had the toolbox already we just had to modify it and weld him a dog-box on to it. My grandson had to try it out!
