Well ive been looking at all this conversations and finally i had to put my 2 cents in and im the Father to those MEDINA BOYS your talking about. Ive seen some pretty good English Bluetick Walker PLOTTS and etc. sorry to burst your bubble but ive also seen and owned All breeds and alot of sorry ones out of each breed out of my 25 plus yrs of hunting PEROID

BUT on the other hand ive hunted side by side with with all the above breeds on bear and i dont see no comparison to our PLOTTS and sometimes i wonder why i feed these darn things. So my bottom line in this converstion is Hunt what makes you happy and what puts them up a tree. Ive nebver been one to brag to much as ive hunted with true woodsmen awsome hounds of all breeds from all over the country. AND OUR PL0TTS HOLD THERE OWN IN THE WOOODDDSSS AGAINST ANY DOG ANY PLACE. Treed some, ran some, got out ran some.... Sammy Medina

Houndnem doesn't need to come if you can come show me a real bear dog pahtna! You have access to mapquest, right? Dogs didn't come off the coast came from the Rez. Been outrun once this year, out of seventy one. It was right along with bucknaze's pack. It was pouring rain and we were already running behind one other pack. I'll pay your trip when you show me up!! Alright I won't open my mouth anymore now that you guys have punked me out! Lol. Mapquest...? (509) 322-7673. My box fits 8 or nine. I hunt four. Can make room for more if ya want.

well ive seen dogs that come from the rez that are just as good as anywhere else! ive been hunting dogs for 30 plus years, and ive hunted in i alot of places, the coast, idaho, utah, canada, oregon and california! you people generalize way to much, each dog is different. The other thing you have to understand is hunting is different, it doesn't make one dog any better it makes its skill more honed to that style of hunting! Lebron James could probably be a nfl tight end if he would of practiced football, but he practiced basketball doesn't make him no good it just means his skills were honed for basketball! I firmly believe dogs are born with characteristic and traits, how those are tuned after they are born makes the dog what it is! My bet are some of the best dogs ever are sitting on chains right now not getting the opportunity to become the best dogs ever!

I'de love to come hunt with you guys, especially erikson. not as enimies tryin to prove something, but just as some dudes lookin to raise hell and tree some bears! I have heard you guys have some easier bears than us, and more bears than us. but I don't know if thats true or not. we hunt steep thick ledgey roadless mountains with very few bears. I have seen lots of people who tree a bunch of bears come out here and not even get a rig. or if they get the rig they don't end up at a tree. but I'm sure if your treein that amount of bears your dogs know the drill. what would a white bred utah feller have to do to be able to come hunt with you guys? I don't tree too many bears, so It would be good experiance for my dogs. if the bears really were easier It would build my dogs confidence and probably help me out alot. if they were hard bears, oh well just another day at the office. at least then I would know if it was true or not.
the post wasn't really about any of this anyway, it was about speed. plott vs bluetick. He put down the bluetics and said they were has beens and I got pissed. I put down plotts and said that they lacked nose to back their speed up and he got pissed. we are all too bias to what we like and what we have had good luck with for the truth to ever surface. to me a plott is just a meth addict on a chain diggin holes to china, and to him a bluetic is a coon dawg that has no place on the rig rack. I wish there was a way to put it to the test, but I don't know how you ever could. all I know is from the hound guys I talk too, If I took the gas money it takes to tree one bear in so ut and put it towards going to wa, nm, cali, or even back east I could probably tree more in a week than I could all year out here. maybe some day I'll save up the money and make the trip and put it to the test.

Saddle up Jerid, Joel come on up I made the trip once to Utah and don't really want to again. Ha. That is my real address and number and name actually. Being completly honest when I say I'd pay the trip to see some dogs. Cause I'll buy one of the rollers that can knock mines dick in the dirt. Then I can say I have a real hound. I don't care if it's blue, black, purple or green! The thing about my Rez is there is runners, pop ups, walking, bay up and even smoky bears, and easy places to hunt bears. But there is also the dry, sage brushy, cliffy, roadless, thick, big timber areas with or without bears. Dogs have pretty much seen it all around here. Lions, bobbers and bears! Now I'm a bitch?! Jerid seems to be cool again but your gettin a little bit broncy aren't ya?! Lol. Just let me know when your on your way so I can charge my collars.

I didn't get pissed off. why would I care what you think about plotts? I own many of them and they catch, lion, coon, pork and anything else they are put on. They are the complete package, I don't need one of each color because one lack here or there. You run a mixed pack because you can't find what you need so you keep searching. If you would finish what you started and make that wager, I will show you!!!
