garmin system w/dc30 collar

does anyone on this site have information on the dc 30 collars being burnt out when using a marine band radio at the same time also about the dc 30 collar being not sealed properly and getting wet inside and malfunctioning. thank u for any feed back on this question as i am researching to purchase another system for tracking my dogs
