13 released bears and the one

Went down south and hunted with my bud Tom (Breeze) and some new friends. We started off this trip with an easy one that we rigged, dumped the dogs and the race went straight up hill. This is Tom's back yard and he new where the bear was going so we drove around to the top of the mountain walked about a half mile and the dogs had the bear stoped in canyon in a small tree. Not great pics but got some good video.

Then we caught a second bear a nice boar in some of the thickest crap on the mountain no good pics.
The next day we rigged going up the mountain around 0630 and looked around and found a really good track with toes like ping pong balls.
We dumped the start dogs and then the rest of the pack and they took this dude over the mountain. They finally stopped him in the bottom of a really deep canyon. It took us a couple of hours to hike down to him and he was the one. A side note it took Tom several hours to get to us with the mules and the country was so steep we had to call and get someone to come in from the other side an hour drive. We got off the mountain at 2000 hrs that night a long but great end to a fantastic bear season.

Shane and Colt (future houndsmen) thanks
