My duaghter and I and a friend are thinking about going to Arizona a chase a bear or two. I was wondering if we all had to buy a liscense or if I just need one. Here in NM only the person intending to harvest has to have a liscense.
Thanks
Kyle

As long as you are not caring a weapon you can be in on the chase. I asked the Az game and fish and that was their answer. I wanted to film a hunt but had already filled my tag.

In Az if the dog has your collar on it you are considered hunting and have to posses a tag and liscense or be a licensed outfitter, if you have no dogs and no gun you can have as many people along as you see fit. If you have a firearm you must have a tag and license.

I have read over and over the hunting regs and dogs are only mentioned a few times in there. Mostly to say what can be hunted and what can't but not much else... I may have missed something so if anyone has a link or can point me in the direction of a set of rules for dogs that would be great.

Thanks for the info. I read over the proclamation and couldn't find anything so your help is appreciated.
