Well I am just about to the end of my first bear season and the dogs have taught me well. We were able to put a few up this year and I have to say that I am hooked. I just wanted to say thanks to all those of you that are willing to pass on some good advice to us new comers. There are always good stories and good advice to be found on this site and I say thanks for that. When I first was thinking about getting some dogs to hunt with I truly had no idea what I was gettin my self into. It takes way more time and money than I ever would have guessed. The only trade off is, this is some of the best thearpy money can buy. Its hard to do anything but enjoy the sounds of a nice pack of hounds singing through the trees, or down a canyon. It is somthing that you can not truly appreciate until you have been their yourself. Thanks agian to all those who post and are happy to share their expertise. Keep that advice coming there are plenty of us who can still use it.
