I have a little walker female that seems to have thin skin, after a hard day out in the hills her inner thighs and sides of her belly are cherry red, at times if it was a real hard day there is a little blood, lite, but blood,I have to put on the bag balm when we get back and it is usually cleared within a day or two,I was thinking if I should try greasing her inner thighs with vaseline or something similar before the hunt???seems the cherry skin is from friction,do you think greasing her up will make her skin softer and more likely to chafe??any thoughts.. :?: :?:

Go to a running store and get a bottle of Glide and try it. That is what runners use for their skin and it works pretty good for dogs had a friend that had a dog with the same problem and it worked. It looks like a bottle of stick deoderant.
