Joe:
Yes, I'll tell ya the story real fast lol
We was camped on the 58 road, where the cattle guard is and the road will split and go down red hill road or wrap back around to highway. We took the road that wraps around, cut a very fresh sow and cub track, but decided since we had a hunter to not mess around.
So we went down Red Hill Road and rigged Javalinas at the famous "Javalina Hideout" as dad and I call it! We wanted to dump on them and pretty much burn our dogs alive, but again, had a hunter (See how hunters can ruin a hound-doggers day? lol) When we got to the blue "river" as you Arizona people call it! Lol, the Green River, that's a river lol! We let the dogs out to play in Blue Creek and we decided to go towards the school, while our buddy Shane went towards the New Mexico border. About a mile before the school our dogs blew the eff up! We kept going and made them shut up, turned around, and went back... They rigged, you can't see a track in those cinders, and my dad was starting to get pissed at the dogs... So we cut Socki loose and he ran down the road for about 80 yards, as fast as he could go... By now my dad wants to snipe him cuz he doesn't know what the hell is going on. He gets right next to a road sign and runs off to the left, opens, and is gone!
We pulled down closer and turned Cabo (RIP), Deeds, Shuttah, Cielo, Copper, Ocho Loco (RIP), and a few others loose. they blew out of there so fast we didn't even know if we would see them again... I remember my dad yelling at Socki "I hope it's pigs! And I hope they gut you!"
Well, we drove towards New Mexico, parked the trucks, and walked off that Hell Hole! I walked my Pit Bull to the tree with us

He loves it! He is scared of the game and barking dogs, but he got to see some butterflies on the walk lol.
Got to the tree, saw a bear... We used the video camera to zoom, and me, dad, and Shane about started crying with joy when we saw what we had actually caught.
That was the last bear tree I went to with my dad. He taught me well enough that when I was old enough to drive, he bought me a nice Toyota Tacoma, built me a Dog Box, gave me Socki and some of the girls, and sent me on my way... I wish I was 7 again, riding around with my dad... Young enough to wonder why he knew so much, and why Sky could rig stuff other peoples dogs couldn't... I'm 18 now, and the person I look up to more then anyone can no longer answer my questions or tell me stories... I can't type anymore.
I'll talk to you all later
