I figured i would explain why im curious. My wife has a friend that lives down there and she is really wanting us to meet the family. Well its christmas break and I want to do some hunting. Figured if there are cats down there might as well try one day, since thats the only time i will ever been in that part of the state. Thanks

I used to do some farming down there years ago and the ranchers were always complaining about to many cats killing their livestock, but that was about 10 years ago not sure about now. There is alot of public land there for sure.

Plenty of cats and lots of public land just watch out for traps and snares. I was up there last week and saw a lot of trapper activity.
