First Cats of the year.

Got 3 cats in 3 days last week. That is a best for us.

Great job and nice looking hounds. I bet when a cat goes up in them trees a dog really lets you know.

Very nice start to the season!
Looks like you and your Dad make a great team! The Plott is a nice looking Hound, so are the Curs.
I bet the Tree Noise is something else!

Our first 2 races were pretty short but the 3rd lasted 6 1/2 hrs and ended with the hunter shooting it at 10 yds in the thick mtn laurel. The little brindle cur is by far the loudest of the group. Her voice seems to carry for miles. Funny how the smallest dog is the loudest. The plott has a good steady bark but is not very loud.
The race that lasted 6 1/2 hrs was spent going in circles in the laurel. We through the curs in later in the chase when there was a loss. When they re jumped it for about 20 min I would say it was one of the best chases I have heard in a long time. All 3 where giving everything they had.
Had a race today and only had the curs. The plott is laid up with a leg injury. Those 2 did great for a couple of hours but the rocks ruined it. I still don't know what happened but the cat gave the dogs the slip in the rocks and we couldn't figure it out. I guess you'll have that.
