Stred,

Dad has Bobcat will feed predominantly at Night for two weeks or so then change to Daylight feeding for two weeks or so.

The Papers that we have read that make sense say that a Bobcat will get up and stir every six to eight hours depending on the weather. Cat tend to be the most active just ahead of a weather system moving in. One Paper done at LSU in the eighties says that @ 3:00AM and 3:00PM, a Cat will get up out of its bed and move, maybe only to change positions but might move a few feet to a new bed or start a feeding period.

We hunt Night and Day and there are times when the darn ole Shorttails just do not move at all!

I usually go out an hour before dark and most of the time have one going within an hour. But i hunt cat crossings, if your cat hunting hunt where the cats are. there is a cat i run about every three times i go to where she lives. At night i always start her going down the hill in the daylight she is always going up the hill. she is alot easier to catch in the morning, because she has a big rabbit in her belly.

For those of you new to cat hunting dont just go hunting go to where you now cat live. It will suprise you how many different cats live in the same area.

good luck
