I use to order in those bales of cedar ribbons and it is dang good bedding and doesn't fall apart like chips.

I am right now using pine cedar mix and doing ok, but you sure go thru more of it. You can look up that cedar on-line and order it in. If you don't have a ton of dogs like I do it is not all that expensive.

I like Cedar Chips for sure! You don't have any flea problems when you use them either.

Cedar Ribbons huh? I've never heard of them. Does sound interesting though.

I've used both the chipped cedar from my local feed store and cedar ribbon from lion country supply and I have to say that the ribbon is much better. It doesn't get scattered outside of their dog houses nearly as much and it last a lot longer. It's just to bad you have to order it through the mail, but it's worth it.

I know this is for rats but I think it could apply to dogs as well. I just stick to straw. or grass hay.
