looking to go on a lion hunt next year

I am looking to go on a lion hunt next year and wanted to know if anyone know of guides who are reasonable and get into lions. I have been on a lion hunt in az before and got skunked, so I am looking to try once more at a lion. thanks bob

Need more info Bob. Are you looking for a dry ground, horseback type hunt or a Mountain, snow type hunt. I would look at British Columbia for the largest cats. But most every other western states have good guides also. Just need to know what your looking for.

Not looking for anything special just looking for a nice cat to add to the trophy room.

If you go to NM call Sonny Tapia with dream mountain outfitters, colorado call Van Johnson. In Utah we do pretty good, Cougar Country Outfitters. Contact Bobby Farmer at 970-428-0610 or myself at 970-529-6977.

Utah passed a new outfitter/guide law that went into effect January 1, 2010. I'd recommend that you research what outfitters and guides are permitted before you commit to any lion hunts.........

www.russellpond.com check it out run cats in N Idaho where no one else will run cats. Lots of cats around good success rates good outfitt you will have a good time!!! Just my suggestion

who did you go with in AZ if you don't mind me asking?
A lot of guys have gotten into "guiding" just because the economy is so bad.

Colorado call Steve Biggerstaff he gets a lot of cats snow or dry ground.

Thanks for the help guys, I am still looking around before I book anything. does anyone know of a guide who charges $2500-$3000 for a hunt and has a good kill rate???

I know of two outfitters Shadow Mountian Outfitters and Total Outdoor Adfventures.
Check them out.
