Sorry for the conflict with the CHC meeting Irv
that week end and the 23 & 24 of Jan. were the only available weekends for Jan. for the grounds.

Well there you go. The later of the two choices would have been the wisest.

Then we would have conflicted with the sportsmen show, so it didn't really matter what we did because we would have still cought crapfor it.

You guys scheduled a pot-race for the weekend of the ISE show as well Dale.
So where's the conflict that you were speaking of come into play here?

I think the topic has been beat to death before. No matter what, not everyone is gonna be happy. I don't know of one person at the field trial that would have went to the CHC meeting, or vice versa. The people that are gonna go to the trials, or the meetings are gonna do it regardless of what else is going on. The regulars pretty much do as they have always done.

That's because those that were there were more worried about trying to win something than they are with getting involved with a cause that will allow them to even be where they were.
Then you let something come up and see how many say "What's CHC doing about this?"
Unthinkable!!!!!!!!

I applaud you for telling it like it is, Irv. These things should be said time and time again so that folks will hopefully wake up one day and get off their backsides to put as much effort into protecting the sport as they do in acquiring plaques, trophies, titles, and field trial winnings...if only the excuses for not doing so were as rare as the current individuals who actually step up to do their part.

RAIN OR SHINE
If your not tough enough to stand a little rain, maybe you shouldn't have hounds in the first place.
Hope to see you all there.
