Finally Getting My House!

Nothing to do with hound hunting but after almost a year we can finally order our manufactured home! We have been waiting forever! When I say we I mean me and my wife, and our 9 pets, haha. The 4 Hounds, 1 Mutt Dog, 4 cats, and 1 Ferret (hound ate one now theres one). Be moving out on our 5 acres with a shop. Going to be added concrete on the end of the shop for our dog kennels, with an extended roof for cover. Also later on will have a half acre or full acre fenced for them. Life will be much easier! 900sq ft house with a 15x25ft backyard just isnt cutting it! 1 Hound on the couch, 1 in the utility room and 2 hounds out back is a little rough on 2 people after awhile. Ready for the good life with pretty much no neighbors and bear hunting in the canyon behind my house! Just wanted to share that with everyone, all this at 23. Also my tribe has elected me to go back to school full paid to get my biology degree. After life shits on you for awhile and something good finally happens you realize life isnt too bad!

Congratulations!!!

Nothing like your first house.

Wildlife biology?

Yeh, if a guy never quits, something good has to happen.

If it were my choice it would be Wildlife Biology but Fisheries is where the money is at. I cant argue if they are going to pay me to go to school and pay my books and tuition. I almost have my 2 year but then life caught up with me and decided I needed to work. Nothing like hearing the wife happy on the phone when you tell her some good news! The bad news is Im going to have to fence the property off and get her a damn horse! Basically cost me more money, but if I have hounds and she puts up with it I can put up with a horse, plus who knows I might use it!

You know, horses are great for packing out elk! Just think positive. Sounds like a great place.

Thats true, I didnt do any elk to deer hunting this year! Damn hounds consumed me! Also the canyon behind my house holds an occasional bob kitty too!

Congrats man on the house, I will be waiting for my invite for the house warming party. With the bigger area you will be able to get more hounds now.

Yeah Ill have to invite you and Hunter over. Hahaha dont tell the wife that, she'll probably freak out. Although she wont have much of a problem with it now that all the dogs arent in the house. She loves the damn things but hates coming home on lunch and letting the ones inside out to go to the bathroom. Have you seen my spot? Or know where its at?

Thank you very much! If I want to start my family anytime soon I better start making more money, plus my addiction/hobby that this damn site got me into costs me a fortune!

Congrats man, I know what that feeling is like. Hope your family makes tons of great memories in your new home, i am 31 my kids are 5,9,&12 it was just yesterday when my oldest was born and we lived in an apartment and i had to keep my dogs farmed out, now we own a home in the country and it's been a great ride. The times you spend with your hounds is great but the little quiet times with your family is on a whole other level.Just dont let the little stresses that come with setting it all up get you, A year from now you'll be loving it and all the hard work will be just memories that make it mean even more :D Oh and get her mule and tell her " Well I thought it was a horse with really big ears" that way you can hunt off him to, call it....continued training insuring her horse(mule) stays in good shape

God Bless you and Yours

Haha no nasty towner for me. I be living in Koontzville, dont let the name fool you Im sure there are very few if any coons there. Its right at the bottom of Peter Dan RD. There are two new places going in there and the top pad is ours.
