I'm surprised I haven't seen any reports either. Here's mine, it was tough hunting. We did manage to get one small boar in a tree on Thursday, maybe 170 lbs. My dogs struck the track before sun up and my hunting partner started the track with a few of his dogs. They had it treed before we could get any other dogs in to the race, between 5 and 10 minutes and no more than 200 yards. We had a hard time finding a good enough track to run the rest of the week. I would have preferred to leave this on in the tree, but we had a young man from Jersey who had never been hunting before so we let him take it. It was nice to let the pups get a mouthfull.

Well Curby and I gave it all we had, and we ran a lot of bears. As he found out it is much harder to tree bear in WV. Those high walls are killers. After we run a bear for 5-6 hours the bear would slip away over a high wall cliff leaving the dogs at the bottom. It makes our running up here like child's play. We ran at least one bear every day, and some days we had 2 or 3 different races going on all at once. If you think you have great dogs, this place will show you what they really are.
I was also trying the Garman Astro, and let me tell you it was fabulous. I knew where the chase was, and was to keep up with it. This is the way to go.
It was a nice trip, and a nice get away.
