bear hunting in washington?

i was wondering if you could run hounds in washington? because my wifes sister moved up there with her boyfriend. i was told you cant run bears up there with hounds. wanting to learn a little more on it if some can fill me in.

hey i llive in washington. the only thing you can run here is coon. you can also run cats, but you have to be drawed for a tag to get it. i have to go over to idahp to do all my hunting with hounds.

no you can not hunt bears with hounds unless you hunt for a timber company for spring damage hunts, you caint bait them ethier no bobcat hunting no lion hunting unless you are drawn, the only thing is coon hunting this state sucks for hounds thats why i sold my dogs after spring bear its not even fun anymore in this state/. hope that helps
