here is the prize for utah, bonnie and grace today. although utah did most of the work the girls got to the finish to help. congrats corey on a great hunt!!! it finally came together today.

to be honest with you i was chasing my girls up the road and getting them into the chase and corey and utah have all the play by play as i got my dogs to the finish line just in time as utah was being tore up a little by the cat, as it was bayed up on the ground. many holes in his ears but i was happy to get my girls in there to see the finish. the whole chase only lasted 35 minutes or so cat was layed up close to where we stumbled onto him. corey will have to give the play by play, when he can. thanks for the response wish i could give more of a story.

honestly i did not check the gender as dog needed some attention for a tore up ear, but did weigh the cat at 26 to 28 pounds just forgot to check corey may have just did not talk about the gender. and yes larry was a very healthy looking cat as well. the day ended with an awesome hunt and feeling like things are coming together finally. thanks for responding larry hope you enjoyed the photos.

Thanks guys for the responses. It was a male. We put utah on the track after being out at 1am. Found the track round 9. He went on it good so we moved the truck out of the rd and I headed in behind him. I came to brook that I was not crossing. Utah sounded like he made the jump so I held tight at the brook. At one point he sounded treed so I told randy via radio to get in there with me asap. As soon as I said that he moved out a bit then was coming right at me. Then the cat hit the brook in front of me and blew right by me. I fired 3 times but he kept going. Then my dog came through. Bout 25 yards past me my dog started baying hard. I guess I hit the cat cuz he laid right up in a small thicket. Utah got thrown around a bit until the other 2 dogs got there and I finished the hunt then. The whole thing lasted 20 minutes but was a lot of fun. Been a bad season with conditions being not so good

Who did you get that Utah dog from? I know he's a Cameron but where did you get him? Sounds like he is finally coming along! Too bad you didnt have a camera man in there with you, sounded like a hell of a time!

It was a great time. I got some video on my cell but it was after I'd shot at the cat 3 times. I got utah from a guy named dennis gordon out of utah. Hense the name haha. Original huh! Its taken him some time but he's turning into what we've been looking for. He turned 3 this past september.
