Here's an email that was sent to me today by a G&F friend of mine. Kinda cool thought I would share. Dont know it the story is true or not. But the pics r cool.

These pics were taken by a motion-activated game camera at an AZ Game and Fish water tank in the Luke Air Force Base area close to Phoenix, Az.

No kidding, those look like cheatas with no spots! Even our May, June, and July cats don't get that lanky and slick looking as far as I have ever seen. Neat pictures............

No kidding, those look like cheatas with no spots,

They run like them too. these desert females will way 70lbs soakn wet and can stay in front of a pack of hounds all day. Anybody who thinks lions are short winded never ran one of these. Me and my hounds have had our A$$ handed to us more times than I care to admit by these skinny greyhound lookn panthers. LOL

Many you are right on big Mike. If you ever get one of these desert bland cheetahs spoiled they can drive you nuts.

I had a great little trainer not far from my place for several years. I did a lot of training on her and she was one slick dude. She would hit the rocks back and forth , and then up and down, jump out on the road and haul the mail for 3-400 yards bail off on a rock and then double back and and sulk to I went by and then take off down the road the other way. I had a guy with me one day and he was observing the dogs and when i starting whistleing them up and trotting my horse back the other way he said are you nuts? I said no but she is and right there on top of our horse tracks was her track in a long trot going back where we started from. I cheated and treed her a couple of time and oh boy did she get bad after that! Seriously I could almost hear my Old Gunner and Kate dogs sigh when they got on her track becasue they knew it was going to be a long day. LOL!

Too bad she chose to cross the road at a bad time one day and a load of lion hunters was coming by they dumped the dogs and spilt up and shot her with a 22-250 from a long distance when they saw her slip out of the rocks.

One lion like that can sure do some schoolin on your hounds.
