I was just surfin the web and ran across this site. I am a 49 year old, 4th generation houndman. Been following dogs all my life. I hunt squirrel, coon, hogs, bear and lion. My main hunting is done in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

I live in Menard, TX about 65 miles SE of San Angelo. I have hunted in the Alpine area for deer, Barbary sheep and predators. I have not lion hunted there but plan to do so this year. I generally hunt around Menard for coon and an occasional bobcat. I also hunt around Tucumcari, NM for lion and calling coyotes. I was raised south of San Antonio and still hunt there for coon and bobcat as well.
Good to hear from you,
Gary

Gary, who do you hunt with at Tucumcari, or do you hunt alone? Got some friends over that way.

Rob,
Sorry it took so long to reply to your question, but I have not been on here for awhile. I live up north of Fort Wort on the Red River. The closest town is Saint Jo, Tx.
No I havent hunted in your area but would like to sometime. I do get out in N.M. several times a year and hunt bear and lion. Usually we go to the Black Range, Datil area or the Pecos up by Sante Fe.
