start in on the heavy roading most face barking at a young age is boredom induced. after you get them worn down start turning them in with the other hounds in a area where you can either see or keep up with them and use the e-collar a bit if needed. I would wonder about the trainer your using it maybe teaching more then you want. start showing them some game and try and stay away from roll cages they may cause the problem to worsen. Good luck

I think you need to give a little more detail before anyone can help you out. There may be many answers to your question but give more details.

Like paco said could be many things leading to your young dog doing this but at a year old you better put a boot to his but real fast or you could have a problem you could never fix. jmo later, Andy

I was hunting coons with this guy my dogs have never been with any other dogs before
and I thought it would be a good exprience for them. I turned this pup in when the older dogs started the chase. He made the first tree and all six dogs were treed up every thing was good. On the second run he was out of the box when they started in thick cattials we thought they were treed at first but when we got in there it was just my pup bawling at his male dog they were not fighting. Just the pup baying his dog sitting there showing some teeth.

"I was mad as hell " doesn't fix anything. When we train young dogs they are going to mess up.
Simple perscription: Catch young dog and explain to him the error of his behavior. Start with firm correction like a "boot to his butt", quickly move on to electric stimulation, maybe some leash or belt. If he is too stupid to figure it out pretty quickly; proceed with a more permanent fix and move onto a new prospect.
I can remember getting mad about such things years ago, but have since realized that my temper didn't solve the situation. The remedy is quick and firm action, and move on.
I hunt to relax and enjoy myself, any dog that takes that away from me better change quick or I will make a permanent adjustment.
