Tessa,

Never really saw how the young person got in with the cat, but it was in an enclosure so soemthing had to be screwed up.

Well sad story but listen any of these wild critters can hurt you not cuz they are bad because they are not tame.

So let me tell you this with no official title other than a watcher in the woods. We will see more cougar attacks this summer, we will see newspapers say that cougar populations are out of control. We will see State game officials(notice the small letters) say we need to harvest more cougars. We will see more females whacked and then we will see more cougar promblems. This BS about these cougar studies is all political bs. As much as I think Kenneth Logan is probably not in favor of lion hunting I do think he has offered some good data but he also has said to use isolated study material to build a matrix to manage state-wide objectives is off base. You are managing for population collapse but on the way to that you will see extreme cases of carinivore behavior.

interestingly part of the answer was found in the charmin ad before the news feed to cuddly bears wiping their asses prior to sittin down to coffee or espresso what ever the extra hidden meaning in that was. I just went to a college rodeo yesterday the announcer asked for all the kids five and up to come into the arena no details of the activity just the clown encouraging them in now we end up with enough kids to form a double line from one side to the next they proceed to turn out five roping calves with ribbons on their tails. these are all city kids on a military base you get twenty bucks for the ribbon. know these kids just watched the cowboys rope and throw these calves like nothin and they aren't much taller then a big dog so. you tell me what happened.

yeah, not a little either . a hand full of kids knew to CHASE calves. and well the rest made short movable and very weak barriers . the worst wreck was a calf jumping two little girls and not quite making it. it was like screaming dominoes. then the parents started hollerin and the announcer starts to panic and repeat over and over please kids be safe be safe children. It shows how removed from the reality of animals and wildlife most people are . the sad part is the producers didn't think about this in the first place. I am not too proud to admit that growing up I had my ass kicked by cute little calves more times then I can remember. my older brother thought the best way to teach me to ride was tying my feet together with bailing twine. by the time I was seven if I saw him coming with the twine I started chunking rocks and running. It's like greased pig contest wheres the fun in that? I know the hog guys love it but really how many people want to be made asses of in front of a crowd by a wiener hog? not me its hard to get the girls to spend much time with you if you are greasy and smell like a pig. strange how having bull&#*! smeared across your shoulders and face isn't as repugnant. women are strange
