In my opinion, the fall tag should be hands down a better tag than the spring because of the number of trucks, tags and dog boxes. Although I haven't' been out there since they re-opened the spring hunt, I'd guess by the time the bears really get rolling so do the trucks and dogs. I use to love that country for running bears, then DWR closed the fall pursuit and opened the spring kill season back and I just ain't into gang-banging or having guys drop dogs on my tree. Looking south, I see lots of snow in that country yet. A friend told me there is still nearly two feet of snow on Winter Ridge, so it might be awhile before the roads dry up and a guy has good access????

Good luck on the hunt............
