spring runs in michigan

Anyone out there in Michigan ever get any bear runs in before the training season ends? Or has anyone seen any bears yet... seems like a few should be out with these crazy warm temps?

i spent two days this weekend and a tank of gas and i found nothing but i seen people had drag some roads. but it wont be long and the cold rain didnt help.

I have burned lots of gas and found nothing. Kinda gave up looking in the spring. April 15 comes around way to soon. I understand having the bug to give it a try though with all this warm weather.
Fortunately I have been working too.
Hey, have you seen the proposal by the DNR to change the way they do licenses? Private property or public on the tags. I hope it doesn't go through. I haven't ever been able to pick whose property the bear is going to tree on.

Yea im not 100% clear on that proposal. Sounds to me like the big club lands with lots of money are getting pampered to on this one, pretty much getting thier own private tags. Its just one more thing to take away chances for alot of people on public land.
