Great Snyder Cat Hunt

Just got back from hunting with J. Martin Bassinger near Snyder. We were up there shooting a TV show for CARNIVORE which will air on the PURSUIT channel beginning 7/11. Pursuit will be available to all Dish and Direct subscribers at no extra charge.
J. Martin's dog did a great job and treed a cat literally on a snag over Lake Allen Henry. It was so beautiful that it looked as if it was staged. When we shot the cat out, it along with my buddy ended up in the lake and it was 30 degrees.
Dustin Whitacre, Mossy Oak, Brian Hawkins and I will be producing this show which will be all predators and hogs. We will be calling, stalking and of course, using dogs.
Adios,
Gary

Great Story Gary!
Can you post us some pics of the Hunt.
Glad Mr. J. Martin showed you some sport! His Andy dog is a hell of a strike dog. Mr. J. has a pack that will sure catch a Cat!
Come see us when you can!

Hate to say it but I did not carry my still camera to the tree. We did have two Hi Def Sony Cameras rolling from different angles. This will be hunt that all dog men on here will want to see. We did a plug for Tritronics as all the dogs were wearing "ears". We also showed the Garmin tracking system working so they may get a "bump" in sales.
Since Savage and Nikon are two of our sponsors, Dustin made a long shot on the cat at about 15 feet. I was hoping that he would miss so that we could rag him a little more but falling in the lake was a great substitute.
Andy was the first hound to smell the cat as I saw him batting his tail and going left but one of the other dogs opened to the right of the road in the thicker cover before Andy opened. As we were leaving the tree, Andy opened on another cold track. It was so cold that we did not get another bark. I am sure that if we would have stayed around we could have gotten him going but we needed to get back and get an interview with J. Martin.
Adios,
Gary

Predator Pursuit is on the Sportsman's Channel. It goe to approx. 9 million household and must be purchased in an additional package. I know the boys that produce that show as they are two firemen from Ft. Worth. Jeff and Todd are good boys.
Pusuit Channel will be standard on both Dish and Direct in a few months.
Adios,
Gary
