How big of a kennel do you think I should have for one dog? Also how big should my kennel be for two dogs? I have one dog in a 10x10 kennel now and I am thinking of putting another dog in with him and I do not know if this is too small. Thanks.

10x10 is too small for one dog let alone two. If your looking for convienence for you, then put them both in the 10x10. If you are looking for what is best for the dog, then keep them in a 1/2 - 1 acre run.

10X10 is plenty big for 1 dog. We all would like a 40 acre pen but most don't have that luxury. The imporant thing for me is interaction and exercise as much as possible. I never kennel 2 dogs together although it can be done successfully.

I also agree that 10x10 works well for one dog that gets regular excersize. Mine road at least 5 days a week if we don't hunt. I've had hounds in 10x10 Preifert kennels for years and I love them!

I kennek my dogs together and it works fine as long as they know where thier own food station is,I have two dogs per kennel which is 10x10 but I also exercise my dogs 5 days a week which helps reduce boredom and any dog fights but here are some circumstances where I separate them, like when one of my female are in heat or if they are just to young to hold their own against the oldr dogs, but kenneling two dogs together can be done sucesfully as long as you stay on top of things

just get 2 15 foot chains & tie your dogs out it will save time & money plus no fights. keep them away from anything that they can jump over and hang themselfs on though
