Does someone know what the particulars are for coon in Montana? I know they aren't a game animal so they aren't regulated, but can you hunt at night? Can you use Dogs? Any restriction on the dogs? ( number, gps collars) Do you need the conservation license or not? Any closed times of the year for them?
Thanks

I KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NIGHT HUNTS THERE, AND SEEN PLENTY OF PICS OF COON HUNTING@ NIGHT. LOOK UP KEVIN JACKSON OR MARK BATES ON THE REDBONE SECTION.

coons in montana are considered a pest I know there is no season it is open year round. You can use dogs, spotlights, traps, anything. I think the only regulation is private land laws.
