do any of you do this to your dogs, and if so what do you use. I just took my pup into a new vet and they suggested i do it. Her ears were ok, but they said i should keep them clean for infection. Never did it much on my other dogs, just checked them now and then. It was like 20$ for the stuff they gave me to use. Is there something that will do the same for less.

yes i usually clean ears often and there's different solutions available from hunting catologs for it and for just general cleaning they seem to work. for a real problem you normally want something that has a drying agent in it along with a antiseptic. 8-9 bucks plus shipping order it when you order replacement collars and restock on everything at the same time. i clean anytime i think about it and some hounds have more issues so get checked more often. once a week for me but that goes way up when hunting as they get into more stuff

I've been using Ozark Mountain for awhile now. I use it once a month or so (more like whenever I think about it). It sure seems to work good and I'll keep using it.

My vet has given me some stuff called Oxyfresh ear cleaner. I have one dog that is bad for dirty ears and getting infections. I found that it works good to break up all the wax and dirt. I need to get some more also.

I have not tried anything out of nite lite or such.

Later,

Marcial
