I'm going to be I colorado for the summer and I was wondering about the laws down there

There is a kill season but you can run year round. Cole, I don't know that area well....I do know there are lions there :wink:

I use to live in CO. Hunted alot of elk and deer in that country. Never coon but there is alot of public land on the Yampa River, theres gotta be coon on it. Good pike fishing.

on public land i had to go to the dow office and get a short term permit to shine a light at night! private you could do as you please. i think coons could not be shot from may 1 to june 30th. best to just ask dow ,the rules were a little obscure.the local game warden said people dont coon hunt here(acted like i was trying to poach something) so i went and got the permit.

Theres a few around, I still don't have hounds but I got my JR to tree them lol.
