The other night me and a buddy got the idea to buy some coonhounds. Well, we found some on and they come from a female that is bloodhound/curr mix and from a full blooded blue tick. A friend told us that they would be slow becasue of the bloodhound in them. Now im wondering if that would be true being that it has curr and blue tick in it also. Just looking for some more opinions then just one before i count out the dogs im looking at.

I second that. If you have the chance to hunt with the dogs the pups are out of you will know what you are going to be dealing with. Hope it works out.

im not color blind by any means but i have had the best luck with walkers. get a older dog that knows what he is doing ( buy him under the tree of coarse) and maybe a young started hound.....JMO
