Bears, trees and dogs

These long days are good for heading out after work to catch a few. Here are a few pictures of bears dogs and one big a$$ tree. Had to be the biggest tree I have seen this year.

Small rubbed out sow, treed in about 1/2 miles from the jump.

Rudy, Zoey and Cookie talking it up.

A decent sow whose coat was awesome. The dogs trailed for about 30 minutes and ran her about a mile to a park like stting in a nice fir.

A nice boar in spruce. The dogs trailed him off the road, jumped him only 300 yards off the road and had a spirited mile chase with one of the dogs getting tagged pretty good

Anice boar in a huge fir. The pictures don't do this tree justice, a real specimen.

A young sow that climbed to the top of a busted fir. I didn't have the dogs 30 yards from the tree and she bailed, the dogs almost caught her on the ground before treeing higher up, not far away from the first tree.

A ratty sow that took us on a mile walk down 800 fett of elevation. A nice view of tatlayoko lake and the surrounding mountains .

Rudy singing a melody

One of those memories that reminds you why you do this crazy sport
