My female is due in roughly 2 and a half weeks if in fact she is pregnant at all. She has a small puch belly thats barely noticeable. Her nipples are slightly larger than normal but no milk is forming. I have never had a false pregnancy yet with any of my females so this is either gona be a single pup or a false pregnancy. What your take or experience on the subject?

I have a black & tan female that came into heat around a yearr & a month old and her, my bluetick female & male plott all share a big kennel so I thought she got pregnant.

Her belly got a little bigger & she normally has a smooth belly with super tiny nipples and she got little boobies along with the belly. Took her into the vet for a preggo check and it was a false alarm. She even started taking pulling some of the old blankets from a few of the dog houses into the barn section they got fenced off. It lasted for awhile, then she slimmed down and lost the boobs.

And when she started acting weird.. it's not a huge change but it was sure noticable, considering she was in with an unfixed male.

Hard to say.. If you have an affordable vet.. and don't want to wait to find out, you can take her in for x-rays or an ultrasound..

Milk doesn't generally come in until the pups are born.. They don't really bag up until after the pups are born and done with the colostrum...

I took her to the vet. It is a new vet that I have never seen before because I moved. He couldnt determine if she was pregnant or not. He was extremely old and practically senile. He refered to the dog as "he" and wrote in his report that My female was born in 94'. He Didnt have an ultra sound nor did he take blood and do a hormone check that would have told me if she was pregnant or not.

My female is due on the 15th and is actually showing less that she was before. False pregnancy seems to fit.
