OK first what is a alligator dog? Is that likely a growly one? Second, the houndswomen here how did you get started? Curious how to get future relationships involved. ... or is it a lost cause?

A gator dog can be a mean dog towards other dogs or a dog with tons of grit towards game. So in some meanings it may not be a good thing and in others not so bad. Good luck finding the women hunters. I have found that most (like my wife) either quit after kids or acouple years of marriage. She comes with me from time to time but, not like she did. If your looking for a woman hunter find one that does it by herself. She doesn't need a man or really want one. Then try to get her to like you. Good luck with that one too. You can try http://www.CamoSpace.com. There are single women on there if your shopping for one. If you want to see something interesting (yeah, I'm a nerd and like facts like this) do a browse for a specific age group of women and see how many are in each. The there is a ton in the 15-18 range and then a small drop in the 18-24 range and then it drops off alot after that. The young girls probably are hunting with their fathers (like my daughter) that takes them with them. The teenage girls are most likely hunting with their boyfriends cause they are addicted to them and just HAVE to go. The 18-21 probably still enjoy it but, marriage and kids haven't take over yet. 21-24 are the teenage girls that are still hung up on their now husbands and going along to drive them nuts and make sure they aren't talking about other women. After 24 is a safe bet they have it in their genes and it will stick with them for a while and kids, husbands, dirty laundry and dirty house (my wifes excuse) be damned.
