Anyone bait coons like to run with their hounds?

you could if you wanted...there is so many of the damn things running around right now as it is...i dont know how much you will benifit from a feeder compaired to just free casting your dogs to find it on there own....i use a feeder in the winter sometimes for my pups only...gives them a nice hot track to run and get their noses going.

We had a couple tough winters and I have a dog to start on coon.

Ya can't hurt to throw a bait station out. But once the dog starts catching good don't let him run the bait after a while. Make him find them himself

I want to get her tracking on her own. My older dog can do by himself.
