Does any one know of any Irish Terrier breeders from working stock?
Anyone have any experience with this breed?
Like the looks of the breed.

For those of you who have mtn curs from the Owyhee Nevada Jack bloodline, Jack has passed on, a couple weeks back.

Would like to replace with a small type hunting breed. Something that can almost fit inside my coat if needed.

Still have 2 curs but both are old too. Hate it when a good dog gets old.

I have two, male and female, they are a quick athletic mid size dog that move! I am learning alot about hounds right now they have a lot in common, They are really smart, the first time I did a drag (short distance 30 yards) my maggie dog went start to finish and jump up the tree and pull down the dog, dont bark on the run, will go head to head with badger, coon and skunk and win(again I am not a houndsman, trying to learn) Would love to see them mix it up with a bobcat, these dogs are fast and fearless.

Will be getting my first hounds here shortly, will be intresting to see what comes of it.

ps they kill rats and mice better than the local cat, again not sure how or if on the big stuff, but a great overall dog around the house or ranch.

Prob two big to put in your coat, 20 to 35 lbs.

Yeah, I know I'm afraid if we got a small dog we'd spend more time digging them out.
So will have to go with the 20-37 lb type dog.
They'd be used mainly on a trapline and being a bud.
Just looking for something different in a dog.

Are you going to breed? Don't know anything about them just starting to look and think about different breeds. We are thinking a jack russel or german jag may be on the small side, hench the digging out part.

Have carried anywhere from 4 -3 dogs for close to 30 years now, just time to down size on the quanity and dog weights.
